Scavenger Hunt Finale

The Scavenger Hunt finishes this weekend so here are my final photos.

12. A cloud in the shape of something - after spending all summer looking at the clouds and not coming up with much, I have given in a bit and think this looks a bit like a rocket.

16. A windmill - this little windmill is on a thermometer that we brought back from our trip to Amsterdam.

4. An airplane - cheating a bit but took this photo of a book on how to make paper airplanes.

I am really pleased this year as I have managed to get all 21 items and the two bonus items. Roll on next year.

11. An animal in a zoo - well it has to be my little glimpse of the Giant Panda at Edinburgh Zoo. This is the female that they are waiting to see if she is going to have a baby soon.

Bonus item (or substitute) - a person wearing an outfit that symbolizes your country - what else but a piper. 

It is not long till the Hunt finishes and I still have 5 items to get. Better get out and about with my camera!

3. City Hall - the City Chambers in Edinburgh

2. Theatre for peforming arts - well you can take your pick at the moment in Edinburgh as many different types of venues have been turned into theatres for the Fringe.

 Not in the Scavenger Hunt, but we finished our trip into town on Saturday with a visit to the Book Festival, which is also on at this time.

We are very lucky in our new house to be able to view some lovely sunsets from our windows, looking across Edinburgh. I took this one for Rinda's Summer Scavenger Hunt No 5 a sunset.
