Wool-tastic

On Sunday afternoon my sister, mum and I visited the National Museum here in Edinburgh to see the Wool-tastic event that was advertised. I had expected something bigger, it was really just some people sitting around knitting, but there was this knitted tree and we got to try finger knitting.

I don't think finger knitting is something I will get into in a big way but it was fun to try it. I am not sure what you would do with what was knitted.

Our Hookery group seems to be collecting challenges at the minute, Fiona- I've added the tree to our list! Lovely pictures- thank you!

Hi Fiona and happy birthday to your young man! We're heading to Edinburgh to visit my dad tomorrow. Any good shows for teenagers on in the Fringe? I'm having real trouble choosing anything...

How interesting - I don't think I've ever even heard of finger knitting.

Looks like a scarf for a small doll.
