Ballater

Some views of Ballater. Last weekend, along with five other women, I was at Ballater in Aberdeenshire. We had a lovely time together and the weather was also lovely. On the Saturday we went for a walk. Some of  us climbed a hill and some of us walked along by the river - you can guess which I did!

We are all wives of ministers and it was lovely just to spend some time together, talking, laughing, praying for each other.

Wedding Finery

Here I am in all my wedding finery! Last Friday Gordon and I attended a friends wedding, it was a super day and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The wedding was held in the National Piping Centre in Glasgow. Both the ceremony and the reception were held there, the first time I have been at a wedding held somewhere else than a Church. The ceremony was really nice and the meal at the reception was lovely. We were also lucky enough to stay overnight there and it was great. It was great to meet up with friends that we haven't seen for ages.
