I have finally finished knitting this jacket for myself - well actually it has been finished for some time except for the button - which my sister kindly sewed on for me when she was down recently. It is knitted in Rowan Cotton Jean wool and the pattern is Lynton from Rowans Coast book. I am pleased with it although perhaps should have knitted it a little longer.

That is lovely Fiona.
it looks lovely
What a really nice cardigan. It's almost a jacket really - you could probably wear it over a dress, for a semi-formal occasion when it's a bit nippy outside!
I sometimes wish I had patience with knitting. It just doesn't appeal to me at all - I find it dull. I know lots of people don't - it's just me that is odd! I do like to knit lace though...
Still, it would sometimes be nice to run up a little cardi for myself. I only ever knitted one complete garment - a big, chunky navy sweater for my BF, when I was 16. My mum had to help me finish it... Never again!
But you obviously have the knitting bug and can make fab stuff! I love that cardigan!
Fiona,
That is lovely. Good job!
