In His Shadow

This is a LO I have done for May's Challenge over on Faithscrappers UK.
It is titled In His Shadow and the journalling talks about my relationship with Jesus. The photo was taken from a great website I have just discovered Scripture Pics.

Scrap Your Day - May

I managed to do May's page in May!! Pictures of the birds were taken from my kitchen window, my mother in law and sister in law brought the boys home and Gordon and I went out for lunch to Dunskey Gardens before they came. I made rhubarb crumble for dinner. I am taking the view of my garden from my kitchen window every month to see the changes over the year. Have also taken a photo of Andrew's sunflower seeds and will do this again (if they survive being put out in the garden).

PWL - Module 8

The Module this week was to take close up artistic photos. My first one is of some rhubarb before I made it into crumble. The second is light reflected onto a CD and the third is red cabbage which we then had for dinner.

The Dash

Well today is the 25th of the month again and I've been taking photos all day for Shimelle's Scrap Your Day - hopefully will even get May's page done this week.

We were at Glasgow this week as John was at his first concert - he went to see Amy McDonald - and thought it was great. We went shopping yesterday and gots lots of bargains - I love a bargain!

I thought I would share this with you, with thanks to Scrapdolly who had it on her blog. The Dash it is very beautiful and has lovely words, music and pictures. The words seemed so appropriate for me at the moment as I just finished work to enable me to have more time for studying and being with the children and less stress in my life. Go watch it and then think about what you want in your life.

Just in Time!

I started this book last month for Shimelle's Scrap Your Day which is running for a year. On the 25th of the month you take photos of your day and then put them into a book. I had made the book and taken the photos but have just managed to put the two together. Then I was very brave and got out my Bind-it-all to bind it. Now I am all set to take photos again on Sunday.

Painting With Light - Module 7

Doesn't time fly, I can't believe we're at Module 7 of the Painting with Light course. This week we had to look at 'shape'. The first photo was taken last weekend when I was staying with my friend in Glasgow. This tower is in the field at the back of her house.

This one is a War Memorial.

Lastly, my whirly gig taken as I lay down on the grass.

PWL - Module 6

My photos for Module 6, we were to take photos of people. Luckily my kids seem to love getting their photos taken! We have had glorious weather again this week, so I was able to take some photos outside.

I was so pleased last week when my first photo, silhoutte of John and anchor, was chosen by CJ for her Final Five of the week.

Have also managed to get some more gardening done, although not much scrapping or studying. I suppose the weather will change some time soon!

PWL - Module 5

Another tough module this week, we were use light and try a silhouette and/or sunset. Luckily the weather has been great this week as I have needed several goes at this. The photos look OK on the camera screen then too much detail showing when uploaded to the computer. However I have chosen these three as my photos for this week.

I was very chuffed last week when my photo of Andrew was chosen for the shortlist for the favourites, it didnt make the final five, but I was pleased anyway.

I have been out in the garden a lot over the weekend and again today trying to tame the wilderness, there is still masses to do though. Scrapping has had to take a back seat (although it will probably rain soon, knowing our weather).

PWL - Module 4

It was a tough module this week on my Painting with Light course. The idea was to turn your camera, either from the landscape or to tilt it. Not at all sure I like the turn and tilt idea - most of mine seemed to be tilting too far! I have chosen these three as the best of a not so great bunch.
