Cotton Top

Before I packed it to go away next week I thought I would take a photo of this cotton top that I knitted. It is knitted in Sirdar Calico Cotton. Hopefully the sunny weather will return so that I can wear it.

Holiday in Northumbria

Our family holiday this year was to Beadnell, on the Northumbrian coast. It is a really lovely place, with great beaches. Our house was just opposite the beach and had great views from the upstairs windows. Weather was not too bad, bit cold sitting on the beach sometimes but we just wore more jumpers!

The boys liked to dig in the sand and try to build sandcastles.

Auntie Karen had to get in the act too!

Gran decided she would rather sit and watch!

Time for a Change!

I decided it was time for a change on my blog - a change of name and a change of colours!

I have decided that as I seem to do less scrapping these days I wanted a name that was less scrapping-like. After lots of 'helpful' ideas from the rest of the family I have decided on Fiona's Flotsam - all the other good names were already taken!

Hopefully these new changes will now encourage me to be more regular in my blogging.
